ABOUT SWT

Who we are

Scandinavian WeldTech is a market leader in the design and production of steel frames for houses, and we were one of the very first to develop floor-integrated composite beams (hat beams) and composite columns during the early 90s.

So we know what we are talking about and with about 30 years in the industry and hundreds of successful projects in the rear-view mirror, we are a safe and reliable partner.

We strive for our customers to always have the best solution within the financial framework set for a project. We know that sub-optimization of deliveries for short-term profits unfortunately is common in the construction industry today, and this is something that we try to counteract by actively coming up with suggestions and ideas on how a framework can be changed to give the best overall economy to the end customer. We believe that it benefits both us and our customers to be able to offer the client something that exceeds expectations. We have this way of thinking with us from the first tender and continuously through the design.

Open doors

door_open_blueSWT is a family-run company with proud traditions. We all work on the same goal, regardless of title and position. We can all pitch in with different competence and the door is always open if you need help, or you want to run an idea by with a colleague. Being able to maintain an open and welcoming work climate is a strength that we value highly, as it contributes to us being open for change and development.

Being owner-led makes us flexible and decisions can be made quickly when needed, without long chains of meetings and intermediaries where messages and good thoughts so can easily be lost. We can turn an idea into action in an afternoon, if needed.

The team

hands_five_in_ring_blueOur team consists of all ages and many origins. Every day, colleagues are heard talking to each other in Danish, Swedish, English, German and Arabic, sometimes several languages at the same time with a certain amount of confusion and happy laughter as a result.

This colorful and positive gang is located in several places but still works closely together, even across national borders. We have been working with digital communication via video for almost 10 years and it is as obvious with us to call a colleague via Teams and share a screen as it is to step in to the colleague next door. Of course, we share this opportunity with our customers where both tender reviews and technical project meetings can easily be held, regardless of physical distance.
